Do You Need a Mentor or Coach

Should I Invest in a Mentor or Coach?

You don’t know where to go in your career, your happiness, or just life in general? If you’re feeling like you need an extra push or just someone to motivate you, a mentor or coach just might be the person you’ve been looking for. Having someone to talk to and be able to reach out to is such a healthy part of constant growth and improvement.

To be truly successful, having a mentor or coach can help achieve the greatness you desire. Mentor and coaches fall along the same path, but have differing definitions. A mentor can be defined as someone who shares their knowledge and experience to help someone grow and develop. They can be known as a “senior” in their field, who has had the time to gain extensive knowledge. The mentee person is usually someone who is new within the area, or just wants to obtain the knowledge to grow and succeed. A coach is someone who gives guidance to their client so that they are able to reach their full potential.

Owning Your Impact

What does that even mean? In a world full of competition, we shouldn’t have to hide the impact we have on others. Forget hiding your “too muchness,” (thank you to my friend Malorie Avaline for coining that term!) let the world see what you have to offer, with no shame attached. When you have a positive outlook on life, it seems to feel like everything is coming together.

With those inspiring words I always say take what you learn and really put it into action. Don’t make yourself fall into the so called failure category because your business doesn’t look or run like someone else’s.

Malorie is joining us on one of our Monday Lives of Coffee & conversations to answer some of the questions you may have about the process of seeking a Coach and the benefits.

As always I hope some my daily insight and experience within the small business industry helps you with your entrepreneurial path! I always appreciate you reading and thank you for visiting my little space on the world wide web. Until next time friends! Capture.Brand. Engage.
