Delegation is not a sign of weakness, it’s a sign of strength, growth, all the while trust and growth can build upon. Adding an employee to my photography business over seven plus years ago was one of the most scary, but one of the BEST leaps I ever made in my business! As my business matured, I felt a pull for more. I wanted to start AD Media Group to help streamline the Marketing Process for so many small business owners and creators that could have educated assistance without having to take on the full role as an employer. But, the truth is NO ONE is YOU, so letting go and investing in a rhythm is, at the beginning, slightly overwhelming. However, once you get in a groove and before you know the growth will be exponential. There is not a perfect service, there isn’t a perfect company, but there is one that fits your needs. It will even take you going through the wrong ones to identify which is the right one.
Delegating doesn’t mean passing off work you don’t enjoy, but letting your employees stretch their skills and judgment. – Harvey McKay
The art of letting go and delegating is a skill that’s necessary for growth and one I continue to learn on daily. With my years of experience in an industry of content creation behind the camera for many years and now owning/running an Influencer and Modern Brand focused marketing firm, delegating tasks and roles isn’t just pertinent for short term goals but for the longevity of the business . A business that is made up of passionate driven people that have formed their own skills to take a task further than I could on my own. I will admit no one can do things exactly like myself but teaching my ways and processes to others that are willing has taken me further than I could on my own.
Whether it’s delegating your marketing tasks or to-dos within your business or personal life, it stems from learning where those in your life shine their brightest. What do I mean by this? Do you have that go-to friend that is your person when it comes to dealing with tough times? Have an important email that needs that copywriter eye on it? Or, a special project you want to nail, but need some additional help?
These are ALL forms of delegating. Learning to delegate certain items will actually help you achieve the greater, overall vision for yourself and your business. This realization helped me hone in on my Why and what I wanted to assist fellow entrepreneurs with–consistent marketing strategies that lead to more conversions.
Delegating tasks is vital for the overall success of your business. It allows you to leverage the skills and capabilities of your team members, increases productivity, fosters employee growth, and ensures effective time management.
Remember, effective task delegation not only lightens your workload but also helps in developing and empowering your team members.
When it comes to task delegation within your company, having the right tools can greatly enhance productivity and efficiency. Here are a few tools that can assist you in effectively managing and delegating tasks:
The choice of tools will depend on your specific needs and team preferences. It’s important to assess the features, integration capabilities, and user-friendliness of each tool before making a decision.
Which brings me to the essence of the AD Media Group Full Structure.
The AD Media Group Full Structure is a Marketing Process that was designed for the foundation of the services we provide. The ADM Full Structure ensures that your content ends up on all various online platform cohesively and most importantly is monetized and SEO friendly.
To achieve any goal–you need the support of talented people who can carry out tasks and items effectively. The ADM Full Structure process was created not because business owners CAN’T do it, but because they need to outsource and delegate to achieve. Business owners succeed most when have the privilege to focus on where they shine and letting others shine for them other ways–such as Marketing and remaining consistent on platforms.
However, it is HARD. I would be lying to you if I told you that delegating is easy. Ensuring your teams have ample access to resources, understand the vision, and have your heart to achieve it takes a lot of patience, grit, and grace.
When creating a foundation for clients to begin the process of delegating their marketing tasks, I came up with a base structure for our process to make sure our clients were consistent on multiple platforms, generating SEO, and generating monetized content for their ideal consumers and clients. This process isn’t a secret, but the manpower behind it to remain consistent is invaluable and difficult to find.
Blog – Regularly blogging not only helps generate SEO and brand recognition, but acts as a feeder into your brand, business, or organization. Your blog and website act as the hub for all that you share and offer. Every other asset following is an extension of that hub, which ultimately feeds back to your blog and website.
Newsletter – The newsletter acts as your mouthpiece to help get your message out and redirect your audience back to your blog packed full of resources, insights, and monetized assets.
Story Graphics – Another important and impactful aspect of building your hub. We create one story graphic per blog post as stories are vital in order to redirect your audience on social media back to your main hub–your blog and website. These graphics can be shared and re-shared endlessly to encourage your audience to visit your blog and generate conversions.
Pinterest Graphic– One branded graphic curated for Pinterest to reference and redirect back to your blog posts. Pinterest Graphics are important for brand recognition, brand awareness, and giving the audience context behind your content.
Social Posts – This is your last step to continue carrying out your message from your foundation sources. (HINT: Bring in the Story Graphic and Pinterest Graphic!)

Andrew Carnegie
