I have been playing fun catch up with all the fabulous sessions I have been working on as we jump into Spring and I finally am slowing down for a quick minute to give some of  the details and fun from our Trip to New York Fashion Week this past February!! So many things aspired from the trip, from how to plan for next visit, where my favorite places , what to wear, and the goals set from our experience. My amazing husband acted as our travel agent and set us up with the trip we will always remember!!!

 

My dear friend Hillary went as my assistant and I couldn’t be more thankful for her help and most of all her friendship to support my goals and experience my dreams. What I have learned in all of photography or entrepreneurship in general is you are only as successful as the people you surround yourself with.

Hillary & I had the Marshmallow Lattes on Repeat . Not the healthiest option but definitely the energy booster we needed for the streets of New York!

We Squeezed in time to be tourists, after all it was the first time for both of us to be in New York!! We had Pizza & Hot Dogs!! We had to experience the True New York Food!!

 

 

 

New York Wardrobe & Gear:

As New York Fashion week was a work trip we wanted to be fashionable yet to be able to move and be quick on our feet to capture the best images for our clients. Here were some of our favorites!! Click on the links to purchase!!

 

Back Pack:

If you are going to work this is a must have!!! You have to be quick on your feet and pack for the walks. So many experiences you have to capture and you will want to be ready yet able to maneuver.

 

Boots:

I had tons and tons of comments on my boots!! It was so cold in New York and I couldn’t have picked a more comfortable and warm boot to walk the streets of New York!! You cannot beat that price!!!!!

 

Coat:

I had to have a Coat to keep me warm but be able to move with me as I move to get the perfect angles of buildings along with the right angle of my clients, it kept me warm along with the faux fur tough I just loved!!

 

 

Change Pod:

 

If it’s Dallas to New York the Change Pod for my clients has come in handy on so many levels for quick change and saves so much time without having to walk to bathrooms, or the uncomfortable change in cars!
