Are You Blogging? I promise it’s an investment in your company’s longevity and here are 6 reasons why you should!!
Six Reasons To Blog No Matter The Business You Are In
1. A blog can maintain your marketing strategy and structure your relevant content Promoting your services and goods is not an easy task, especially in a highly competitive business climate. That’s when the blog comes in handy. It helps you with the multimedia representation of your company, keeps the audience interested, and promotes your company. Think about promoting your videos, podcasts, interviews, and more on your blog. This is helpful content for your audience and great content for your website. The important part is the quality of your posts and if you are of service to your audience.
2. A blog can attract new clients THIS IS STEP IS HUGE!!!!! Blogging and posting relevant content is an incredibly useful tool to increase traffic to your website and to your services. With the help of SEO strategies like keywords, titles, meta descriptions, and more, blog posts become a powerful tool for gaining visibility for your brand. In addition, every new blog you post adds a new page to your website. That helps with SEO immensely because it gives Google and other search engines a reason to re-crawl your website to find new content to index. Businesses pay thousands of dollars to Google Ads but being able to generate SEO on a regular basis also helps increase the visibility without investing in a blind paid ad!!
3. A blog can promote a community around your website and organization This is a perfect way to maintain and spread the word about your services and create long-lasting bonds with prospects. Share your blogs on social media to reach a wider audience and build a community around your posts, insights from your company, and your perspective. You’ll start to see just how much traction a blog can bring when you share it on social and bring in new visitors to your website.
4. A blog can build your reputation in a particular field of your interest Blogging allows you to share your perspective with your audience in a new way. In today’s world, you see influencers sharing the same products but they all have a different point of view or a different opinion about it.
5. A blog can help you advertise Research shows that around 80% of companies prefer to have an advertisement in the form of a series of articles instead of the traditional “buy now” agenda. And customers are also getting a little tired of the conventional ways of commercials and advertising, so creative ways to present your services are crucial to the modern business environment.
6. A blog can help you appear more trustworthy to your potential clients People trust the written word, and blogs improve the level of trust toward your organization or venture. Make sure you are providing helpful and accurate content, encourage discussions and knowledge sharing, and you will see increased trust in your brand!
The importance of blogging for business ventures cannot be underestimated under present digital and marketing circumstances. Even with the emergence of other creative tools to support your visibility and push forward your services, it does not diminish the value of what a blog can do for your brand. Whatever your needs are, a blog post is a great tool for creating a stream of website traffic, growing an audience, and new prospects.
A Helpful Tip
Here is a tip if you don’t want to call it a blog! Let’s say you are in an industry where calling it a blog just doesn’t fit your brand! That’s ok!! Call it your Latest Projects, or your Journal! Just create the process and implement it within your marketing strategy! As long as you have a blog-style format to curate the SEO the name of it can fall on brand but still generate the positive attributes we have listed above!
