Friends, we are still reeling from the Branding & Photography Workshop Friday the January 29th at The Lumen Room in Plano, Texas! I can’t believe how quickly it has come and gone but I am so appreciative and proud of how Friday turned out. We had so much fun and it was truly incredible to see all of the amazing speakers in one room. From tips and insight of how to grow your brand online, to learning how to photograph and use your camera to create imagery, we went over it all. We even dove into our why and motivation as business owners. We had attendees from all different background and businesses that all are excited to learn and take action to engage their audience and provide better connections with their client. We had doctors, photographers, models, hair stylist, and Influencers to name a few. We had attendees with all different types of job descriptions which speaks loudly on how important it is to share your brand position no matter the industry. Growing your brand isn’t just for influencers and bloggers, its for ANYONE that needs to build their business and online presence! Our goal that was accomplished with the Photography and Branding workshop was met to decrease the anxiety of online and social media marketing and put the excitement in on how sharing your brand position will help connect and obtain your ideal client.
To start I want to brag a little bit about Herb & Alchemy! As each attendee arrived they were greeted by this amazing cocktail bar and the smiling faces of Nicole and her husband, the sweetest people you will ever meet! They really set the tone and knocked it out of the park from the very beginning making the branding and photography workshop the coolest place to be. The drinks were not only beautifully created, they were delicious! We may or may not have visited it a couple of times, I mean do you blame me?! 😉 Talk about photo opportunity to this branding photographer I couldn’t get enough images and my favorite subject to photograph is cocktails my friends, so this was simply stated the BEST!!!
We had influencer and brand speakers as well as creatives give so much knowledge on brand position, scheduling content, important of imagery and how it impacts your business. Knowing your why to launching a brand and having a specific direction is key to standing out and the words the speakers spoke continuously made me holler out YESSSSSS. We also discussed steps to prepare for a photo shoot, adding pieces to your imagery that identify your specific brand position, going from a side hustle to a full time job, the importance of video content, finding your best light, and so much more!! We even dropped some bombs on the tools we use to help deliver those tasks to your clients. These speakers really brought such useful information, and it brought me so much joy!
To have these people in one room was truly such a blessing, and it was amazing to hear all of the information and knowledge they have about building a business and brand! I am so thankful for their willingness to share what they know and give other people inspiration to grow a business!

Rebekah is a fabulous interior designer & Influencer that finds beautiful but affordable pieces when she is decorating and taking this step while creating content will decrease the anxiety when you create with intention. Your content should educate your audience and make them want to take action.

Social Media comes and goes but you always have control on the consistency of your website/blog.

They both are so real when it comes to this business, and discussed staying true to yourself and your brand. Taryn discussed how she’s made this a full time job, and learning to know who your true audience is along with staying true to yourself.
